1.How Billing Works
Novaq uses a simple per-patient billing model:
- —Unit-Based Pricing: 1 Unit = 1 Patient Confirmation Slot. Purchase units to unlock patient slots.
- —Custom Rates: Rates may vary based on your organization's size, region, currency, and specific requirements. Contact our sales team for a tailored quote.
- —Billing Cycle: You are billed monthly or annually from the date you activate your subscription.
- —Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period unless cancelled.
- —Currency & FX: Prices are listed in USD. If your payment method uses a different currency, your bank may apply a small foreign exchange conversion fee (typically 1-3%). The exact amount depends on your card issuer.
- —Payment Methods: We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
2.Proration
When patients are added or removed mid-billing cycle:
- —Adding units: You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.
- —Decreasing units: A prorated credit is applied to your next invoice. Note: You must remove patients before decreasing units below your confirmed patient count.
- —Plan changes: Switching between monthly and annual is prorated automatically.
3.Taxes
All applicable taxes (GST, HST, VAT, sales tax) are calculated and collected automatically based on your organization's location. Tax compliance is handled by our payment partner on our behalf.
